According to President Muhammadu Buhari, his government has carried out high-impact projects all throughout the nation that have satiated Nigerians’ desires and expectations, according to NAN.

This information was provided by President Buhari during his remarks at the Ministerial Performance Review Retreat, which was organized to assess the amount of progress achieved in carrying out his administration’s nine priority agenda items.

He emphasized the outstanding advancements achieved in a variety of fields, including agriculture, the economy, infrastructure, security, health, and anti-corruption.

He informed retreat attendees and visitors, including Keynote Speaker and recently-departed Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, that more than 3,800 kilometers of new roads had been built around the nation.

In order to strengthen the Nigerian Air Force’s campaign against insurgency, Buhari said that additional aircraft had been purchased.

The President spoke about infrastructure:

We have carried out high-impact projects that satisfy Nigerians’ needs and ambitions throughout the whole nation in recognition of the significance of essential infrastructure for economic growth and the desire of this Administration to leave a lasting legacy.

“Some of the significant successes include the completion of the over 156.5 km Lagos-Ibadan standard gauge railway renovation project with extension to Lagos Port, Apapa and the 326 km Itakpe-Ajaokuta-Warri rail line and railway auxiliary facilities.”

In terms of road projects, this Administration has built 408 km of roads, installed 2,499 km of SUKUK roads, and maintained 15,961 km of roads nationwide.

Among these projects, the 1.9 km (2nd Niger Bridge) joining Anambra and Delta States with a 10.30 km approach road, the continuing renovation of the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano Road, and the building of the Lagos-Shagamu-Ibadan dual carriageway are important ones.
