Vieira was praised by Ferdinand as a superb player and noted as a wise acquisition.
Vieira, who switched from Porto to Arsenal this summer, started for the Gunners in the league against Brentford.
During the match against Brentford, he caught a pass from Bukayo Saka, looked up, and curled the ball home with his left foot.
Ferdinand was greatly thrilled with the Portuguese player’s goal in the 49th minute and took a moment to laud it.
