The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has detained Tanko Abubakar and Johnson Olumoyegun as they were in possession of phony $270,000.

He said that on October 6 and 7, 2022, in Kubwa and Area 3 Axis of Abuja, the suspects were apprehended with phony $270,000. (Two Hundred and Seventy Thousand United States Dollars).

Additionally, Olumoyegun impersonated a Commission official by utilizing a fictitious Solomon David-named EFCC ID card. Additionally, he had an ECOWAS passport with the name Isa Bello.
