The future of manager Erik ten Hag has already been decided by the club, according to former Manchester United captain Gary Neville.
The Red Devils’ Premier League winning run of four games came to an end last weekend as they lost 2-1 at home to Fulham.
Ten Hag’s team now sits eight points outside of the top four after the outcome.
Neville expressed grave concerns about Ten Hag’s muddled playing style, even though the team’s fifth-place performance would probably be sufficient to guarantee a participation in the competition the following season due to changes in the Champions League format.
If you consider that [Omar Berrada] joined from City as CEO and that they are trying to acquire Dan Ashworth from Newcastle, you can be sure that they will decide soon, if they haven’t already.
“I imagine Dave Brailsford and Sir Jim Ratcliffe already know if Erik ten Hag will be the manager for the upcoming campaign. Neville remarked on Monday Night Football, “It’s unbelievable that they’re going to put off making that decision until May and then shortchange themselves.”
