The recruitment of new personnel to the FGN Power Company Limited’s management team has been approved by President Bola Tinubu.
Tinubu’s Special Advisor on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, said this in a statement that was signed by him.

He said that the appointment was a part of larger initiatives to guarantee energy security for all Nigerians and overhaul the power industry.
In close cooperation with Siemens Energy, Ngelale reports that Tinubu expects the “FGN Power Company Limited to work assiduously to realize the core objectives of the Presidential Power Initiative (PPI) through a holistic overhaul, modernization, and expansion of the national grid and other critical measures to ensure the growth of the Nigeria Electricity Supply Industry (NESI)” once the management team is fully constituted.
