Nigerians can take heart from Dr. Betta Edu, the country’s minister of humanitarian affairs and poverty alleviation, who promised a redoubled effort to help the world’s most disadvantaged people in 2024.
The minister urged Nigerians to hold on to hope in a new year greeting sent in Abuja by her media aide, Mr. Rasheed Olanrewaju. The message promised that all marginalized individuals will feel renewed optimism in 2024.
Additionally, she committed to utilizing all available resources to help Nigerians escape poverty by 2024, in accordance with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Under President Bola Tinubu’s excellent leadership, Nigeria’s economy is poised for a remarkable revival in the coming year of 2024.
Those of us who are less fortunate will feel the good effects of our nation’s economic revival, I promise you with all my heart.
“The President has already charged us with lifting 50 million Nigerians out of poverty within the next 42 months, and we are fully committed to meeting this objective,” she declared.
