Ayodele, the Primate, has been under fire from the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for his recent prediction that Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, the governor of Anambra State, would lose the 2025 governorship race.
Ayodele recently said that if the All Progressives Congress (APC) presented a well-liked candidate in 2025, Soludo would lose.
However, in response to his remarks, the APGA charged Ayodele of lying in the name of prophecy by invoking the name of God through APGA Media Warriors Forum, one of its media branches.
According to the group’s National Coordinator, Chinedu Obigwe, APGA and Soludo have a great deal of mutual support to win the state’s 2025 governorship election.
The coordinator issued a press release saying, “I shall counsel Primate Ayodele to cease speaking the name of God in vain. He is more of a prophet of the end times, and many of his prophecies were not fulfilled.
He is what one well-known Igbo gospel performer called an imitation prophet.
Conversely, as ardent supporters of Governor Soludo, we are hoping that the chieftain he referenced wins the APC ticket so that we may give him a harsh political lesson.
“I will state unequivocally that the APC’s 2025 governorship candidate is a simple path for the APGA to achieve its goal of taking control of the 326 Anambra State wards.”
He stated that Ayodele would be thrilled to see Soludo win the next election and that the many infrastructure projects the governor has been able to start will make this feasible.
He posed a challenge to Ayodele, asking him to name any governor who had accomplished as much in less than two years as Soludo had.
