Nasarawa United chairman Isaac Danladi has decried his team’s unfortunate relegation from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
The Solid Miners finished in ninth place on the Group A table, ending their 10-year stay in the NPFL.
Danladi assured that necessary steps will be taken to ensure the quick return of the Lafia-based club from the Nigeria National League (NNL).
“It’s an unfortunate exit of the team from the elite league and Federation Cup,” he said after an end-of-season management meeting.
“I assure that necessary steps will be taken to return Nasarawa United to the Nigeria Premier Football League as quickly as possible.”
Nasarawa United have embarked on a one-month break for players and officials.
