Legend Alan Shearer of Newcastle United feels that Manchester City is still leading Liverpool and Arsenal in the Premier League title fight.
Following their 1-0 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday, Man City is now just one point behind Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table.
Arsenal defeated Newcastle United 4-1 at the Emirates Stadium as a result of the outcome.
Shearer feels that Man City’s experience will be the difference in their match against Liverpool and Arsenal, adding that Pep Guardiola’s team is “so strong.” The Gunners are two points off the top spot.
Shearer informed Premier League Productions, “You are going to be looking at one team who might not get a great result one week and the other and you think that their chance has gone.”
However, I believe that the only positive aspect of City is their presence. They are aware that no panic exists.
Because they have faith in themselves, their abilities, and their work, they know that if they persist in their efforts, eventually things will work, even when they aren’t performing well in games. Therefore, in their perspective, there is no panic.
Liverpool is under a little bit more strain because we know what will happen to them at the conclusion of the season—the manager is departing.
Arsenal is under pressure because of what transpired during the previous season, which is known to us.
“What happens with City is that they know how to handle that situation because they are so good, so strong, and because they have been there.”
