With 270 open positions for police constables, Jigawa State has received applications from about 16,000 people.

This was revealed to newsmen by DSP Lawan Shiisu Adamu, the spokesman of the state police command.

He has stated that the recruitment exercise is free of charge and does not impose any financial obligation, as “Commissioner of Police A.T. Abdullahi reiterates.”

He went on to say that the process would follow the highest standards of openness and responsibility.

Online imposters, con artists, and other criminals may try to take advantage of the application process to defraud unsuspecting applicants, therefore he warns them to be careful.

The screening for the Nigeria Police Force constable position is set to take place from January 8th to the 29th, 2024.
