Posted by Hajiya Huriya Dauda Lawal, the wife of Zamfara State’s governor, has spoken out against the terrifying frequency with which kidnappers target students at Gusau’s Federal University.
The First Lady of the State complained to the administration about the unsafe conditions in the building, saying that the students could not learn in such an atmosphere.
The First Lady felt bad for the administration, faculty, and parents of the University’s pupils.
For reasons beyond my control, I was delayed in making it to this great institution, and for that I apologize to all of you, my dear daughters.
To eliminate “bandits’ activities” from the State, she remarked, “the administration under my husband is not resting on its oars.”
She claims that the authorities were able to safely evacuate the remaining pupils because they had coordinated their efforts.
I expect all of you to keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary and to report it immediately. She continued, “I also want to suggest that management increase its staff.
