Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has bragged that his squad can now discuss completing a treble after defeating Manchester United in the FA Cup final on Saturday.
At Wembley Stadium, Man City defeated Man United 2-1 in the FA Cup final, which Guardiola observed.
Man City won the FA Cup thanks to a brace from Ilkay Gundogan, with Bruno Fernandes scoring Man United’s lone goal on a penalty kick.
The result of the FA Cup final means that Man City has now won the Premier League and FA Cup this season.
Later this month, the Citizens will face Inter Milan in the Champions League final.
At his press conference following the game, Guardiola stated, “We can now talk about the treble.”
