Alex Crook identifies two Gunners this season who will prevent them from winning the title

Alex Crook, a football commentator, has predicted that two players will be the reason Arsenal doesn’t win the Premier League this year.

Crook thinks that Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus, Arsenal’s two choices at number nine, won’t be able to assist Mikel Arteta and company win the Premier League this season.

For the past two seasons, Jesus and Nketiah have carried the load of guiding the Gunners’ assault.

The pair combined for 15 goals in the Premier League last season, helping Arsenal to a runner-up finish behind Manchester City.

Crook has expressed skepticism that Jesus and Nketiah will be able to help Arsenal win the domestic league this season.

Crook said that Arsenal, in order to compete with the likes of Manchester City for the title, should acquire Ivan Toney, a striker for Brentford.

Whether they play with Nketiah or Jesus at number nine, Crook doesn’t see Arsenal winning the league (via TBR football).

To quote a friend: “I think if they do get Ivan Toney and he can hit the ground running it gives them a great chance.”
