APC leader Mumuni Tinubu on the certificate: “Let the Supreme Court do its job

Nigerians should wait for the Supreme Court’s verdict on the legitimacy of President Bola Tinubu’s certificate, according to Ambassador Abayomi Nurain Mumuni, a top official in the state’s ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Several accusations and counter-accusations about the status of the President’s certificate have dominated the media, as the 2011 candidate for governor of the defunct Congress for Progressives Change (CPC) in Lagos State pointed out.

Then he advised his countrymen to wait for the Supreme Court to rule on the matter and let the law take its course.

He warned that “caution is warranted. All these remarks and rebuttals are completely superfluous. We must exercise extreme caution so as not to break any laws. The judges’ job is to figure out where the certificate actually stands. All these sidetracks are unnecessary.

Regarding President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s educational background, I have read numerous articles and listened to numerous broadcasts from a variety of perspectives. We should avoid being caught up in the pretense at all costs.

In accordance with the electoral legislation, the esteemed judges of the highest court in the land will soon reach the point of decision. Tomorrow will be better than today, therefore I’m making another plea for civility among the gladiators.
