Witnesses who requested anonymity stated that the incident took place on Friday evening at 5 o’clock.
Yesterday (Friday), at various points on the Ugbowo campus, we heard three gunshots. According to the source, “three students were shot; one is dead, another is in critical condition at a local hospital, and the third has vanished.”
Meanwhile, UNIBEN has not issued a statement on the matter.
SP Chidi Nwabuzor, the public relations officer for the Edo State Police, told TWISCOLOADED, “I am yet to be briefed on the incident.”
Channels Television reportedly found that vehicle access to the UNIBEN’s Ugbowo campus was limited during a recent investigation.
