Following Monday night’s 2-0 FA Cup third round victory over Wigan Athletic, Wright made an appearance on ITV to discuss the match.
There should have been a larger margin of victory for the Red Devils because they had more scoring opportunities.
A number of players, including Rashford, had trouble making an impression on the League One opponents.
And right now, he feels like — you know, occasionally I believe maybe could cross, you know, yes, he can shoot,” Wright said after the game.
But he feels like he’s at a crossroads and needs something to happen at the club or for someone to speak to him before he can go to the spot where we anticipate him to be.
“He appears to be playing second fiddle to that player right now.”
