Nyesom Wike, minister of the FCT, has made his intentions for the new year public.

Using 2023 as an example, the former governor of Rivers State said that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) development strategy will be based on President Bola Tinubu’s record of achievement.

Addressing the people of the Federal Capital Territory in his New Year’s greeting, Wike highlighted the substantial progress his administration has achieved in a number of areas during the previous few months.

He boasted that his administration’s focus has been on building infrastructure, making sure cities are well-planned, raising healthcare facilities, education, and making it easier for businesses to succeed.

In the coming year, the FCT Administration will devote itself to enacting strong policies and programs that will support the growth of the nation’s capital and guarantee that it remains an exemplary example in all aspects, according to Wike.

Infrastructure development, economic empowerment, social welfare, sustainable development, community participation, inclusivity, and security are some of his goals for the new year, according to him.

Wike called on all FCT citizens to work together with the government to make the capital territory better in every way: physically, economically, and socially.
