According to talkSPORT, Chelsea will make a summer approach to acquire Brighton striker Evan Ferguson.
The Blues reportedly have Ferguson under surveillance for a while.
Plus, they’re friendly with Brighton thanks to the high prices they paid for Moises Caicedo and Marc Cucurella.
Graham Potter, the Seagulls’ former manager, and a number of other backroom employees were also transferred to Chelsea.
The £115 million British record sum Chelsea paid for Caicedo is less than Ferguson’s value, as he only signed a new deal in November.
Furthermore, Ferguson is reportedly not in a hurry to depart.
Last summer, Ferguson piqued the curiosity of Manchester United and Tottenham, both of whom were seeking a successor to Harry Kane.
