Furious Nigerians loot an Abuja warehouse and send a message to Tinubu — Adegboruwa

According to Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, the majority of Nigerians’ dissatisfaction with President Bola Tinubu’s administration’s economic policies is reflected in the looting of a government warehouse in Abuja on Sunday.

Adegboruwa expressed this opinion on Monday while appearing on The Morning Brief, a breakfast program on Channels Television.

According to him, the message is directed towards the President and his economic team, emphasizing the necessity of systemic changes to ensure the survival of the vast majority of Nigerians.

He declared, “There is currently a crisis of survival on the part of the people throughout all states in Nigeria.” Thus, it is not unique to this instance; a truck loaded with food was attacked and looted at random. We need to have a place where we can secure people’s lives and property, thus I am in no way in favor of this.

“However, it is a reflection of the fact that the current administration’s economic policies are not benefiting the nation’s citizens, and these incidents, of course, highlight the frustration that people are feeling.”

Due to the nation’s current economic difficulty, some Federal Capital Territory (FCT) citizens allegedly robbed a warehouse owned by the National Emergency Management Agency of Nigeria (NEMA), according to a report published in the Daily Post on Sunday.

It was learned that the residents removed various objects, including food.
