Guardiola tells Ten Hag, “You have to win,” prior to the Man City vs. Man Utd match

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, has received a warning from Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, that he needs to win at a major club in order to keep his position.

In his Friday press conference, Guardiola discussed the upcoming Sunday derby at the Tihad Stadium.

Ever since Sir Alex Ferguson announced his retirement in 2013, the Red Devils have been unable to contend for the championship.

During that period, City has won six trophies, including five under Guardiola in the previous six years, and they have now matched United’s Treble victory from the previous season.

United trails City by 15 points coming into this weekend’s match.

Guardiola declared, “You have to win in the big clubs.”

“United finds it difficult to deal with that after such a prosperous run under Sir Alex.

Sometimes I can make sense of it. They were more patient with the managers back in England. Everyone is under a lot of pressure these days.
