Former Real Madrid ace, Luis Figo, has named Manchester City as the favourites to qualify for this year’s Champions League final ahead of Los Blancos.
Real Madrid will host Manchester City in the Champions League semi-final first-leg tie at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night.
The La Liga champions will travel to the Etihad Stadium next week for the return leg.
The winner over the two legs will play the winner between Inter Milan and AC Milan in the final.
“City plays against the best club in history in the European Cup and there are times when history has its weight,” Figo said (via Mundo Deportivo).
“City are favourites, but Madrid are always alive until the end in matches. It will be a nice semi-final to watch.”
Real Madrid and Man City have met eight times in the Champions League in the past.
Madrid and City have recorded three wins each and played out two draws.
