Posted by Residents of Mando, Tsamiya, Kauya, and Afaka general areas should be alarmed about the upcoming shooting practice of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna.
Maj. Mohammed Maidawa, the Academy’s public relations officer, made the announcement on Monday, emphasizing that the 71st Regular Course Army cadets are the intended participants in the exercise.
However, from January 9th until February 2nd, 2024, the NDA warned locals not to go near the shooting range.
An announcement was made by the Nigerian Defence Academy, which wanted to let everyone know that they will be holding a Range Management Package for Army Cadets of 71 Regular Course. This is very important for the people living in Mando, Tsamiya, Kauyd, and the surrounding area.
The planned dates for the drill at NDA Open Range Afaka are 9 January–2 February 2024. The public can rest assured that the NDA has taken every precaution to ensure the safety of the exercise.
“Anyway, people should not wander around the area while the exercise is going on unless specifically authorized.”
