Michael Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, disclosed that Gabriel Jesus experienced a little setback in his injuries.

Prior to Saturday’s Premier League match against Newcastle United, Jesus did not train with the rest of the team.

The Brazil attacker experienced a little setback while recuperating from a knee injury, according to Arteta.

“We were unable to find a quick solution, and he had a minor reaction in training once more,” he stated.

“Since he has been out for a while and is a player we need at his best, we didn’t want to take any more chances.”

We have chosen to extend his stay by several days.

For the pivotal match, Arteta might start Thomas Partey from the bench.

Due to a thigh issue, Partey hasn’t played since the 1-0 victory over Manchester City in October.
