Because of the ongoing economic hardship throughout the nation, several inhabitants of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have stolen a warehouse owned by the National Emergency Management Agency of Nigeria (NEMA).
The warehouse, which is situated in the Phase 3 area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Abuja’s Karimo, was reportedly raided early on Sunday.
Food and other supplies were taken away by the inhabitants.
The Nigeria Police Force has sent officers to the scene in order to secure the premises and scatter the looters.
Josephine Adeh, a spokesman for the FCT Police Command, acknowledged the event and stated that everything had been brought under control.
She declared, “The situation is now under control.”
