Along with them are Commissioners Austin Ben-Chioma for the Environment, Dr. Jacobson Nbina for Transport, Dr. Gift Worlu for Housing, and Professor Chinedu Mmom for Education.

The individual in charge of the screening has instructed the participants to bring forty copies of their resumes, photocopies, and original credentials to the State House of Assembly, Legislative Quarters.

A political crisis between the former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and the current Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, led to a wave of resignations on December 16, 2023, according to the News Agency of Nigeria.

Ben-Chioma, Mmom, Woke, Adangor, George-Kelly, Aguma, and Kamalu all quit.

The re-appointment of the former commissioners who had resigned was one of the conditions of President Tinubu’s peace accord with Fubara, according to NAN.
