Some Kogi residents of the ADC and PDP have switched to the AA

The Action Alliance (AA) has attracted former members of the African Democratic Party (ADC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The exiles come from the Adavi, Okehi, Ogori/Magongo, and Okene Local Governments in the Central Senatorial District.

The Decampees’ top leaders have taken it in turns explaining why they’ve left their former party in search of a new one that will put the needs of the people first.

Hon. Ibrahim Omonesi, former Council Leader of Adavi Local Government and PDP defector, said that he is confident that the anti-poverty initiatives proposed by AA will be implemented throughout the State.

Former PDP member and current AA supporter Hon. Fidelis Sadiq said that after meeting and working with Braimoh, he now plans to support AA in order to see his vision for the State come to fruition.

Hon. Momoh Jimoh Obeito, who defected from ADC, explained that he decided to go to AA because he believes Otunba Braimoh is the most qualified candidate for Governor of Kogi State on November 11th.

Acting AA Chairman Deacon Fred Ambo welcomed the defectors and urged them to help the party’s nominee win the election scheduled for the following month.

Otunba Olayinka Braimoh, the AA’s gubernatorial nominee, commended the defectors for making the right choice and encouraged them to go door to door in their communities to recruit new party members.

He claims that his victory in the polls is guaranteed thanks to the influx of new members into the party and other huge endorsements.

Braimoh has pledged to wean the State off of federal funding, saying instead that it is self-sufficient.
