The judges who will rule on Atiku and Obi’s appeal against Tinubu have been revealed

To review the petitions submitted by Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Chichi Ojei, the Supreme Court of Nigeria has formed a panel of seven justices to hear the appeal.

The three presidential candidates are contesting the results of the election that took place on February 25. They represent the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Labour Party (LP), and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).

Notices filed with the court and signed by Zainab M. Garba in the registrar’s office comply with Order 2, Rule 1 (2) of the Supreme Court’s Rules 1985, as amended.

The notification names Justices Musa Dattijo Muhammad, Uwani Musa Abba Aji, Lawal Garba, Helen M. Ogunwumiju, I.N. Saulawa, Tijjani Abubakar, and Emmanuel Agim as members of the panel that would hear the appeals.

Meanwhile, Atiku’s plea to provide new evidence alleging President Bola Tinubu submitted a fraudulent certificate to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will be heard by the Supreme Court on Monday, October 23.
