Posted by People’s Redemption Party, or PRP, has provided Governor Abba Kabir of Kano State with the advice that he should not use his position for personal vendetta but rather for the sake of the state as a whole.
This information was sent to twiscoloaded in the form of a press statement that was signed by participants at the 2023 Kano PRP candidate forum.
They issued a warning to the Governor about the dangers of committing injustice and putting the interests of any individual, organization, or political party ahead of the interests of the state as a whole.
In a democracy like that of Nigeria, where elections are the only method that is both legal and acceptable for generating leaders, there must be a victor and a vanquished.
“We are making a request to the newly elected government that they prioritize the interests of the state as a whole over the interests of any person, fraternity, or local opinion.
“Revitalize our decaying education sector,” “improve public healthcare service delivery,” “come up with policies and programs that will enhance agriculture, commerce, and industries,” “job creation,” and “poverty eradication,” were some of the things that were expressed in the document.
However, the party sent their congratulations to the newly elected governor as well as all of the other candidates who ran under different political parties.
