Posted by Dr. Olasupo Olusi has been appointed MD/CEO of the Bank of Industry (BOI) with the blessing of President Bola Tinubu.
The initial term of this position is four years.
This was announced on Thursday by Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser for Media and Publicity.
Ngelale stated that Tinubu had given his blessing to Olusi’s appointment after Mr. Olukayode Pitan, the previous BOI Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, resigned voluntarily.
The statement claims that Olusi has spent the past two decades working for the World Bank as an economist and expert in development finance.
He has also advised the Coordinating Minister of the Economy and the Minister of Finance on economic matters.
