According to President Bola Tinubu, the Federal Government will keep placing the needs of the Armed Forces first so that they can carry out their constitutional duties without interference.

At the trooping and color-presenting ceremony held on Saturday in Kaduna State to celebrate the Nigerian Defence Academy’s (NDA) diamond jubilee, Tinubu made the promise.

He clarified that despite some extremely difficult obstacles, the Nigerian Armed Forces members have continued to make sacrifices all across the nation, and that the Federal Government was aware of this.

Tinubu restated the Federal Government’s resolve to intensify the war on insecurity until all of Nigeria was completely safe.

According to the President, the NDA has experienced several phases of change over the previous 60 years in order to carry out its purpose of providing training for the Nigerian Armed Forces.

He emphasized that it was now a top choice for students both domestically and internationally because of the establishment of Postgraduate Studies, Research Centers, and the Center of Excellence to support research and promote idea exchange.

Tinubu recalled that despite little funding, more than forty projects spanning all areas of the institution had been finished in the previous three years.

The President lists a number of these projects, including improvements to the curriculum’s quality, provision of training equipment, personnel and cadet welfare, and physical infrastructure.

In order to draw exceptional cadets from around the globe, Tinubu urged the institution to maintain high standards for both academic and military instruction.
