Posted by President Bola Tinubu’s application to attend Chicago State University (CSU) as a man was verified.
Caleb Westberg, the registrar at CSU, has come clean about the fact that a male student was granted admission.
To quote Westberg: “President Tinubu applied to the university as a male and a letter of admission was issued to a male.”
The Registrar at Chicago State University also confirmed that one Olajide Adeniji was a classmate of President Tinubu’s.
In his court appearance, Westberg cast doubt on testimony that the FBI checked with CSU about Tinubu’s enrollment status.
“My statement that Mr. Bola Tinubu graduated from CSU was based on the transcripts in our possession,” Westberg explained.
In other words, “I have never had the pleasure of meeting Bola Tinubu. As far as I know, I have never come across him. Our school was not on his itinerary. He does not support the institution financially.
Diplomas in the United States are rarely used for anything other than show. It may have a higher profile in other nations. In the United States, transcripts are given more weight than diplomas.
To conclude that President Bola Tinubu is the individual who attended CSU, I did not depend on evidence available in public records. To my knowledge, the FBI has not asked CSU if Bola Tinubu studied there.
There must have been at least six Registrars at CSU between 1979 and when I started working there. Ms. Davies and I never exchanged words. Over time, policies have evolved. Replacement Diplomas are typically completed by third-party companies. Exhibit #6’s creator is a mystery to me.
Due to the overwhelming number of requests, the institution decided that my name should not be typed on the ‘To whom it may concern’ letter.
Before coming to CSU, I attended both UC Berkeley and UC Irving. There must be some human error involved in data entering. Until this litigation, I had never met somebody whose name was Bola.
Someone may have misgendered the SouthWest Transcript because they thought Bola was a woman.
