Developers in the nation’s capital are urged to work closely with the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Administration on tax payments, according to Minister Nyesom Wike.

The Minister made these remarks during a courtesy visit to the FCT Administration on Wednesday by a group from the Nadeem Group, which was led by Mr. George Tolofari, Special Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer.

Wike asked businesses in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to make sure that taxes are paid on time, stating that without tax payments, the government would not be able to create public buildings and roads.

Wike remarked, “I also urge you to make sure you pay your taxes because the government is funded by them.”

“Abuja receives funding from the Federation Account, unlike other states. All we have to rely on is taxes.

Along with assuring investors that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) was a safe place to invest, he said that the administration of the FCT prioritized security and job creation in accordance with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
