Saudi Minister of Sports, Abdulaziz Al-Faisal, has said that Saudi Arabian clubs are working to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Lionel Messi and Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema.
Both Messi and Benzema have been linked with Al Hilal and Al Ittihad, respectively.
The pair are set to become free agents this summer.
However, Al-Faisal has now insisted that fans need to just wait for the official statement from the Saudi Arabian clubs that want to sign Messi and Benzema.
Al-Faisal was quoted by The Madrid Zone as saying: “Benzema and Messi to Saudi Arabia? Wait for the official announcements from the clubs.
“The clubs will announce in due time.”
