While speaking with media in Abu Dhabi, UAE, late Monday, Paseiro made this statement.

In Côte d’Ivoire, Kelechi will accompany us. He mentioned that his treatment at Leicester City had come to an end.

After finishing therapy for a muscle issue, he claimed Iheanacho would now be ready to compete in the AFCON with the rest of the Super Eagles team.

According to HEALTHYSPOT101, Iheanacho did not participate in the squad’s week-long training camp in Abu Dhabi because he was injured.

In order to get ready for Saturday’s AFCON kickoff in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, the Leicester City striker remained at his club.

On Tuesday (today), the three-time champions Super Eagles attended a special dinner hosted by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in Lagos. They are slated to fly for Cote d’Ivoire on Wednesday to compete in the 34th AFCON finals.

The Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan will host the opening match of the month-long AFCON tournament on February 11, when the Super Eagles are scheduled to face Equatorial Guinea.
