The retirement of all non-posted Permanent Secretaries in the State Civil Service has been approved by the Zamfara State Executive Council.

Mannir Mu’azu Haidara Kaura, the State Commissioner for Information and Culture, revealed this to reporters in Gusau, the capital of the state.

He promised to pay out all benefits to individuals who were impacted.

The Commissioner went on to say that it was also decided that any establishment that owed money for publicity should pay it into the combined revenue account.

Kaura asked the state’s citizens to keep up their prayers for heavenly intervention to bring back stability and harmony.

He asserted that without peace, no society could prosper and that the state’s instability affected every area of the economy.
