Before releasing Nnamdi Kanu, I would prostrate or kneel if President Buhari requests it, according to Ezeife

Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, a former governor of Anambra State, has said that in exchange for President Muhammadu Buhari releasing IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu from prison, he is ready to bow or prostrate before the president.

On Monday, Ezeife said this while answering questions on the Arise TV Morning Show program.

After Kanu was released by the Appeal Court last week and Abubakar Malami, the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), filed a motion to set aside the ruling, he responded.

“I would bow down if President Buhari requests it of me. I’ll bow down if he asks me to just so Nnamdi Kanu may be liberated.

It is a waste of time to go before the Supreme Court.

Everyone in Nigeria yearns for a different Nigeria.

said Ezeife.

The former governor said that the Igbo elders would welcome talks from the Presidency to achieve Kanu’s release and peace in the South-East.

He also stated that Kanu’s release will address demonstrations, agitation, and sitting-at-home in the South-East area.
