Car theft is on the rise in Adamawa

Adamawa State is seeing an upsurge in car snatchings.The state command of the Nigeria Police attested to this.

The police warned locals about the rising number of auto theft incidents, particularly in the metropolitan Yola North, Yola South, and Girei local government districts, in a statement that was acquired by twiscoloaded on Saturday morning.

The State Police Command’s spokesperson, SP Suleiman Nguroje, stated in a statement that the command will be conducting thorough checks in the impacted regions in an effort to stem the tide, which could cause traffic to move slowly.

“Therefore, in the interest of motorists’ safety and security, the Commissioner of Police kindly requests their understanding,” Nguroje said.
