Chelsea has found a replacement player for Osimhen and plans to sign him

As a stopgap measure until they can secure their long-term objective, Victor Osimhen, Chelsea are allegedly thinking about a move for Artem Dovbyk, a player for Girona.

Osimhen, who just renewed his contract with Napoli, is not likely to join Chelsea during the January transfer window.

If the Sun (via Teamtalk) is to be believed, the Blues are eager to welcome Dovbyk to Stamford Bridge in January.

For Girona, Dovbyk has been a revelation in La Liga thus far this year.

In 17 games this season, he has 11 goals and 5 assists.

He will be expensive, although not as expensive as Osimhen, when his contract with the La Liga club expires in 2028.

With their goal-scoring woes continuing into the new season, Chelsea may get by with a guy like Dovbyk.

Mauricio Pochettino’s squad has allegedly been linked to Ivan Toney of Brentford.
