Church of TB Joshua responds to BBC report detailing prophet’s alleged rape of members

A BBC documentary about the late Temitope Babatunde Joshua, also known as TB Joshua, was the subject of a rebuttal Tuesday from the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN).

The individuals interviewed for the video were unknown to the church, which led SCOAN to declare the documentary to be false.

Mr. Dare Adejumo, the church’s director of public affairs, issued a statement in response to the viral documentary.

The church claims that the purpose of the statement was to debunk the study and mislead the public.

Remember that on Monday, the BBC broadcast a deeply divisive and indicting documentary on the late TB Joshua, in which he was accused of multiple crimes, including rape, against certain members of the group.

SCOAN made the following statement: “Weird and strange episodes of atrocities against the late founder of SCOAN came out this week with BBC World Service’s investigative unit, codenamed Africa Eye.”

The church made notice of the fact that the investigation did not adhere to the standards of journalism in terms of ethics and basic principles.

The church teaches that journalists must be fair, balanced, and objective if they are to earn the respect and dignity due to the fourth estate in their role as society watchdogs.

In its descent into propaganda and fictitious narratives, BBC has betrayed its noble standards and become a tool for a hatchet job, much like criminals in the world of journalism who have a damaging ulterior goal for personal benefit against someone they consider as an enemy.

Only the BBC can shed light on why it strayed so far from the path of honest journalism to serve out insulting and disillusioned stories of disgruntled elements, essentially giving the public stones instead of bread.

To put it mildly, this is demeaning to our nation’s intelligence community and professionals.
The irremovable imprints of TB Joshua’s legacies on this planet will never be wiped off by hundreds of BBC characters.

There have been thousands of people who have profited greatly from the anointing and grace that the Lord gave to TB Joshua, and who have received miraculous healings, according to the Church.

Those who stand to gain by this imperialist broadcasting station are numerous and undeniable, and they are banding together to express their displeasure.

Many of them are located in the United Kingdom, where the BBC is based, but the organization’s cynical investigative eyes can only notice the blatantly swayed narrators.

The BBC’s broadcast of evil has TB Joshua’s reconciled countless shattered houses, and they are all complaining. In addition to the parents who brought them from all over the world, the provocative reports have enraged countless hopeless children who were rescued from brothels or drug joints and have had their futures changed for the better.

“The BBC has clearly hurt itself with its compromise and haphazard reporting.”

Instead than depending on manipulative and angry individuals, some of whom the BBC had never met before in the church, SCOAN said that the network would have benefited from going to the synagogue in disguise to gain firsthand knowledge of what was happening there.

There are remnants of homosexual and lesbian associates among some of those that have been found.

Everything that the BBC put together seems unusual to SCOAN, according to my results.

A further obviously irrational aspect of the farce is the BBC’s emphatic assertion that the man of God was complicit in the abuse for more than twenty years!

In a law-abiding country, how is it possible? This exemplifies the station’s sexist bias and blatant lack of cultural understanding of Nigeria.

In all those years, where were all those daring interviewees? Was it upon the man’s death that they abruptly regained consciousness? The remark questioned why anyone could possibly admire such con artists.

The church went on to criticize the documentary, saying that the BBC was only trying to bring shame to a dog in order to hang it.

The BBC hatchet job sponsors must have been jealous of the church’s continuous growth, like a tree planted by the riverside, it added.

Your decades-long biased investigation finally cleared his only wife of all charges, and for that I am eternally grateful.

You remained mute for decades as you painted illogical and frustrating scenarios, but did you really expect any wife could perceive them? In all the cosmos, I have not yet encountered a woman like her.

“This is absolutely bizarre, frustrating, puzzling, impossible to understand, and downright sinister and evil.”

Persecution of heavenly messengers or servants of God is nothing new, the church said as it denounced the allegation and pleaded with God to pardon the sponsors.
