Jordan Torunarigha, a defender for KAA Gent of Belgium, is ecstatic about his first international cap with the Super Eagles.
On Monday, Jose Peseiro’s team defeated Mozambique’s Mambas 3-2 in a friendly match. Torunarigha started in his first game for the club.
The 26-year-old started the game but was taken off in the 85th minute and replaced by Calvin Bassey.
The starting center back made an Instagram post to mark the occasion.
“I couldn’t be happier with how my first game went with the Super Eagles. This is only the beginning! It was his post.
The footballer originally pledged allegiance to Germany when he was young but later switched to Nigeria.
