The game’s deciding goal was scored by Tenerife, a forward from Spain, on the 14th minute, giving the hosts at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja a well-deserved 1-0 victory.

Abiodun and Nnadozie were instrumental in the victory.

The two athletes celebrated their win on social media.

+ 3 IMPECABLE WORK FROM THE WHOLE TEAM, CLEAN SHEET. Nnadozie posted, “WE ARE SUPER FALCONS UNTO THE NEXT ROUND,” on her X handle.

The glory belongs to God. We defeated the Cameroons. Excellent group effort by the @NGSuper_Falcons. Abiodun’s account has a brief message that says, “Onto the next one.”

In the championship round, the Super Falcons will play Tanzania or South Africa, the African champions.

Tanzania was defeated 3-0 in the first leg against the Banyana Banyana.
