EFCC to receive ex-minister Farouq on Tuesday following his release on Monday night

Sadiya Umar-Farouq, the former minister tasked with humanitarian affairs, disaster management, and social development, was questioned for hours by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), but she returned home on Monday night.

Tuesday is when she is set to make a repeat appearance, this time to address various concerns raised during the preliminary investigations by the anti-graft agency.

The ex-minister reportedly turned herself up to the EFCC on Monday, according to HEALTHYSPOT101

The alleged laundering of N37,170,855,753.44 when Farouq was in charge is the subject of the investigation.
