FA Cup: Pochettino praises Chelsea’s “talented” and “important” players

Conor Gallagher has been identified by Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino as a key member of the Blues.

Following Pochettino’s arrival to the team last summer, there were rumors that the England international was heading out of town.

Under the Argentine, the midfielder has nevertheless developed into a vital member of Chelsea’s team.

On Wednesday night, he put in a late goal against Leeds United to help the Blues advance to the FA Cup quarterfinals.

The Argentine coach also praised Mykhailo Mudryk, a forward from Ukraine, calling him a remarkable talent.

During the 3-2 victory over Leeds United, Mudryk also scored.

“Mudryk is incredibly talented. You must contribute your skill to the squad. After the game, he told reporters, “You need time for that.”

“Gallagher? He is a significant participant. He brings a great deal to the team. Both the quality and the effort are present.
