Former Chief Judge Recommends Political Resolution of Nnamdi Kanu Case

Peter Umeadi, a former chief judge of Anambra State, has proposed a solution to the situation of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu.

Umeadi argued that a political solution, rather than a legal one, would be preferable in Kanu’s case.

The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, candidate for president in 2023 told reporters in Abuja on Sunday that Kanu’s release would put a stop to instability in the Southeast.

It has been said before, and I agree, for now, that the issue of insecurity in the South East is a significant one,” Umeadi remarked.

If the problem has been resolved, that’s great. If you can’t find a solution to the problem, you’ll start looking for another one.

The problem of Nnamdi Kanu is being discussed as a political one rather than a legal one, and I agree with this.

If he is released from prison, the current unrest in the Middle East might finally come to an end.
