According to Femi Gbajabiamila, the President’s Chief of Staff, the eagerly expected student loan program might begin in two or three weeks.

When a group from the National Association of Nigerian Students, or NANS, visited Gbajabiamila in the State House in Abuja, they were led by NANS President Lucky Emonefe.

He urged the Nigerian students to back the program, pointing out that its goal was to provide all Nigerian students, regardless of their financial situation, access to high-quality education.

“Mr. President is fully committed to ensuring its successful completion.”

He stated, “We are hoping to dot the I(s) and cross the T(s) before it is launched; we are hoping to launch it in the next two to three weeks.”

The Student Loan Scheme’s inception faced a snag when President Tinubu signed it into law in June of last year, as the twiscolaoded remembers.
