Government of Nigeria commits to empowering women in creative fields

Programs and projects that empower women via the acquisition of creative talents will receive federal government assistance, according to Hannatu Musawa, Minister of Art, Culture and Creative Economy.

While receiving a courtesy call on Friday in Abuja, the Minister made the statement during which representatives from the Terra Culture Academy for Arts and the Business Day Media Foundation were present.

In stressing the ministry’s dedication to fostering the creative industry, she cited its role in combating youth unemployment and advancing women’s empowerment.

She expressed her enthusiasm for gender mainstreaming in the creative economy and offered her best wishes to the Women Creative Summit organizers for their significant endeavor.
