The Nigerian musician, Fireboy DML, also known as Adedamola Adefolahan, has disclosed that prior to signing with rapper Olamide’s YBNL Nation in 2018, he turned down a few offers from major artists and record labels.

This was revealed by the “Peru” crooner in a recent Los Angeles interview with Billboard News.

He claimed that he knew it was “the right decision” and so he accepted Olamide’s offer.

A few offers to sign with major musicians were turned down by me. However, I knew it was the proper choice when Olamide arrived. And going forward, that method has really helped me make judgments,” he remarked.

As reported by twiscoloaded, Fireboy DML joined YBNL Nation in 2028 and followed that year with the release of his debut album, “Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps.”
