Killings on the Plateau: OPSH Casts Doubt on Sector Commander’s Arrest Report

On Thursday, the Special Military Task Force of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) denied rumors that its Sector Commander had been arrested in connection with the recent attacks in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.

Captain James Oya, the OPSH in Jos’s media officer, made this announcement.

The study was criticized by Oya for being deceptive and full of incorrect information, with the intention of undermining the credibility of the state’s security forces and their attempts to address the present threats.

“This report is entirely without merit and is part of a larger plot to discredit our brave soldiers and derail the operations of OPSH, which aim to hold the perpetrators of these heinous crimes accountable.

Plateau and its surrounding areas have long been the focus of OPSH, a joint security effort involving several government agencies.

He emphasized that the safety and security of the impacted communities would be ensured by the unflinching dedication and commitment of our troops.

Plateau, along with portions of the states of Kaduna and Bauchi, is tasked with maintaining peace by means of the OPSH, a special military task force.
