Ohanaeze advises Tinubu, “Invite Nnamdi Kanu, Dokubo enemy of the government

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, the premier Igbo sociocultural organization, has expressed its anger over the assault on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), by former military commander Asari Dokubo.

The Igbo group encouraged President Bola Tinubu to invite Kanu to a round table discussion instead of listening to people like Dokubo.

According to twiscoloaded, Dokubo called the IPOB leader a criminal and urged President Tinubu not to release him while speaking to press following a meeting with the latter.

Ndigbo have continued to criticize him for his statement, with many claiming that he overstepped his authority.

The National President of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, accused Dokubo of being supported by those aiming to topple President Tinubu’s administration in a statement released on Sunday.

Okwu argued that it was absurd that Dokubo, who poses as the “son of the President,” was busy coming up with proposals that would further divide the nation at a time when many patriotic citizens were considering methods to bring it together.

“We have always regarded Asari Dokubo as a tyrant who is not concerned with the development and prosperity of this country.

“This is a man who had been undermining the nation’s economy in the creeks for years. What other crime could be more serious than sabotaging a nation’s economy, which is something we have all experienced?

But oddly, the same man who professes to have changed his ways has the audacity to call Nnamdi Kanu a criminal while his boys are still in the creeks.

“When did Asari Dokubo get the authority to determine someone is guilty or innocent? He has simply gone too far in his animosity toward Ndigbo, Okwu stated.

The Igbo organization pleaded with President Tinubu to disregard Dokubo and those like him because they “are not in the least interested in the good future of the country but their own selfish gains.”

“Mr. President made it obvious that he is prepared to bring the divided nation he inherited from the previous government together, and for this, he has received a great deal of praise.

“We implore the President to move forward and not allow hypocrites like Asari Dokubo, who wish to profit from any crisis in the nation, to derail his administration. The president should be cautious about him and his backers because they are adversaries of the state.

Nnamdi Kanu and other agitators should be invited and included, according to the federal government. They are battling for marginalization and justice. The government shouldn’t have any trouble interacting with the agitators if it can interact with Boko Haram militants who have killed and injured millions of people.

“Mr. President is one of those who has fiercely fought in the past for democracy and justice; he should give Nnamdi Kanu a listening ear.”

Ohanaeze, on the other hand, issued a warning to Dokubo, telling him to “refrain from making any future attempts to use Nnamdi Kanu’s ordeal to advance his own interests.

“Enough is enough; we issue a warning to him to quit using Ndigbo as a platform to boost his ego moving forward. Everyone is aware of his interpersonal conflicts with Nnamdi Kanu.
