One man who lost an election is to blame for the PDP’s sole crisis: Dele Momodu

Dele Momodu, owner of Ovation Magazine and a previous candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential nomination, asserted that only one individual is to blame for the PDP’s current issue.

This was said by Dele Momodu on Thursday while speaking with ARISE TV about the recent departure of Governor Nyesom Wike’s team from the PDP campaign council.

Since Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president, was chosen as the PDP’s presidential nominee in May, the party has been in disarray.

Many expected that Wike would be selected as the party’s vice presidential candidate, but Atiku chose Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa instead.

Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State, Samuel Ortom of Benue, and Jerry Gana, a former minister of information, are among Wike’s allies.

They also demand that Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, the party’s national chairman, quit.

Wike’s supporters declared on Wednesday that they would not take part in the PDP’s presidential campaign until the party’s national leader resigned.

In response, Momodu stated that Wike and his supporters have the freedom to leave the party.

I want to make another public appeal to them,” he stated. They are free to go if they so want. No grown man can be prevented from making a choice.

“It’s acceptable if they choose to support a candidate from a different party. However, in my honest opinion, doing so would be political death, Because there is so much at stake, that is the case.

Will Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde advise voters to support him instead of the PDP in the presidential election? That is not how it operates.

The only issue in the party, he continued, was brought on by a single individual who lost an election.

The bottom line is that we are in a crisis, and in order to resolve it, we should make an appeal to those who genuinely love the party to help it succeed by supporting it.

“The APC is also having trouble with its Muslim-Muslim ticket problem, which has no answer. Our party only has one significant member who lost an election, he remarked.
